Molly has spent her entire legal career fighting for the civil rights of California workers. After graduating from law school, Molly found her calling in advancing employee rights through working on race discrimination and overtime class cases and speaking to class members about their experiences with discrimination and unfair treatment at work.
Molly then spent several years at a boutique employment firm in Beverly Hills, where she represented workers in individual harassment, discrimination, and retaliation cases. At that firm she met Marqui Hood, and in 2014 Molly and Marqui founded Durkin & Hood LLP, a 100% plaintiff-side employment firm, where they obtained millions in recovery for their well-deserving clients.
Over the decade they led Durkin & Hood, Molly and Marqui co-counseled numerous cases with the California Civil Rights Law Group, serving as the firm’s local Los Angeles counsel. In 2023, Molly and Marqui joined the CCRLG team full time.
Molly has represented workers in a wide array of industries including construction workers, nurses, grocery workers, executives, drivers, teachers, restaurant workers, flight attendants, janitors, fashion designers, and many more. Molly is proud to work alongside the exceptional people across the spectrum of our workforce who have the courage to stand up for their right to earn a living without being harassed or discriminated against because of who they are. She works tirelessly, tenaciously, and compassionately to obtain justice for each client she represents.
In her free time Molly enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, swimming, biking, and playing the drums.
